What Would You Do...

 

...if your own mother looked you in the eye and told you you were hopeless? That you'll never succeed in life, that you have no hope for the future?
The same mother who supports you when you need her, who would always come in to save you *right* before you hit rock bottom?

Is it worth just up and leaving? Or should I shut up and accept it, cause this is what everyone goes through?

All I know is... All the bullshit is getting really old.

@kachino - I want to, more than anything... But my culture is a bit on the complicated side, and if I were to leave my home, I'd probably have to leave the city as well. The arab community here is large and very tightly-knit, so someone would find me, and I'm too afraid of the consequences

Wow, sorry to hear... I guess you just have to cope with that situation until you can really leave the family home ... for like a job or something like that...

would leave now (I really don't have a problem with leaving the city.. I hate Ottawa with a passion), it's just that I'm studying Translation,a nd the University here is the only school in Canada that offers a Translation degree. But as soon as I graduate, I'm out of here. I guess I'll have the option of leaving earlier if I don't like my program (I only just finished my 1st year)
